SCOUTING IN TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

SCOUT ASSOCIATION OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

Scouting was founded in 1911 and was recognized by the World Bureau in 1963. Membership on January 1, 1998 was 6,210 registered Scouts.

Program Sections:

 Cubs- ages 7 to 11

 Scouts- ages 11 to 15

 Venturers- ages 15 to 19

Scout Motto:

Be Prepared

Scout Oath:

I promise that I will do my best, to do my duty to God and my country, to help other people and to keep the Scout Law.

Scout Law:

 A Scout is to be trusted.

 A Scout is loyal.

 A Scout is friendly and considerate.

 A Scout is a brother to all Scouts.

 A Scout has courage in all difficulties.

 A Scout makes good use of his time and is careful with his possessions and property.

 A Scout has respect for himself and others.
