SCOUTING IN LIBYA

Scouting was officially founded in 1954 and recognized by the World Bureau (WOSM) in 1958. In 1998, there were 12,908 registered Scouts.
Scouts and Guides have one HQ for planning and coordination of policies, but their activities are separate.
Libyan Scouts are active in the Arab region as well as the African region.

Cubs- ages 7 to 11
Scouts- ages 12 to 15
Seniors- ages 15 to 18
