BRAZILIAN SCOUT UNION
Scouting in Brazil was officially founded in 1910 and membership in the World Bureau (WOSM) was in 1922. Brazil was a founding member of the World Bureau.
Scouting in Brazil is very popular in cities and suburban areas. There were 58, 493 registered members at the end of 1998. Scouts from Brazil attend world and regional events in large numbers. They were well represented at the 1998 World Jamboree with 3,000 participants.
Brazil Scouts also have a Sea Scout and Air Scout program.

Seniores /Guias- Seniors/ Guides- ages 15 to 17

Scout Oath:
Prometo pela minha honra fazer o melhor possivel para cumprir meus deveres para com Deus e minha Patria, adjudar ao proximo em toda e qualquer ocasiao e obedecer a Lei do Escotiero.
I promise on my honor, to do my best possible to do my duties to God and to my country, to help my fellow man in any occasion and to obey the Scout Law.
